Once you have met the guide, you will enjoy a two-hour walk in one of the most famous archaeological excavations in the world. * You will see the well-preserved Roman city of Pompei which is located on the slope of Vesuvius, dormant but still active. Herculaneum Express

The meeting will be at the Sorrento train station, with an assistant who will accompany you by train to Herculaneum, where you will meet a guide who will tell you about the ancient ruins for about 2 hours. This Roman city destroyed with Pompeii is another living example of a well-preserved past life for our days. The ashes of Vesuvius have helped keep the roads and much more unchanged, giving us the privilege of walking to get to know what it used to be.
At the end of the tour you will have the opportunity to return to Sorrento as a group or stay in the archaeological site to continue the visit independently.

Pompeii and Vesuvius

Departure to visit the archaeological excavations of Pompeii with private transfer.
The archaeological excavations of Pompeii have returned the remains of the ancient city of Pompeii. Still today the excavation works continue to discover other undiscovered treasures.
After the visit to the excavations you will have free time for lunch. Later, you will leave for Mount Vesuvius. Vesuvius is one of the active volcanoes of Western Europe and dominates the entire Gulf of Naples. It is reached up to a height of 1000 by bus. Then continue on foot to the crater for a visit with authorized mountain guides. After the visit, return to Sorrento. *

Neaples

Thanks to a private transport with guide on board you will reach Naples, starting from the heart of the city. You will visit the original San Gregorio Armeno, a Neapolitan neighborhood famous for the creation of the Nativity scenes. You will then continue to discover the Cathedral of San Gennaro, patron saint of the Neapolitan capital, and the church of Santa Chiara and Gesù Nuovo. You will then have the opportunity to enjoy, included in the price, a typical Neapolitan lunch, based on pizza, "cuoppo" of fries and Babà al Rum. In the afternoon you will continue your tour to discover the Maschio Angioino, the Galleria Umberto, the historic Teatro San Carlo and Piazza del Plebiscito, while also enjoying some free time for shopping. On the way back you will take a panoramic bus tour between Mergellina and Posillipo and you will also make a small stop on the road to taste good limoncello. *

Oil & Lemon Tour

Walking through the streets of Sorrento, you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of this village and learn more about the tradition of cultivation and production of lemons, olives, cheese and wine. An expert guide will take you step by step to the knowledge of the main crops, productions and tastings of high quality typical products. The tour will last about two hours, after which you can visit a local dairy and also a limoncello and wine factory. At the end there will also be a taste, for those who want it, of a simple bruschetta, seasoned with oil and fresh cheese, accompanied by a good glass of wine.
